Which one should you buy?

The Chorus is essentially the bigger Forte, with a larger woofer and more output, and it needs the bigger room to justify itself. The Forte is the one that made the 1980s line collectible, and the Forte II in particular has a following that keeps its prices firm. In a mid-size room the Forte does everything most listeners need. In a large room the Chorus earns its footprint. Both remain value picks next to the Heritage line proper, though the market has been closing that gap.
