Buying notes
Belt-drive Thorens with an AC synchronous motor. Check the belt condition; original belts are certainly degraded. Suspension springs may have sagged; verify the subchassis bounces evenly when pressed and released. Good tonearm (TP-25 or similar) if original. A well-set-up TD-125 is competitive with tables costing several times its used price.
