The TD-145 is a semi-automatic belt-drive turntable made in Switzerland from 1975 to 1978. It shares its suspended subchassis design with the more common TD-160 but adds automatic tonearm lift at end of record, which the TD-160 lacks. The TP-16 tonearm it ships with is a solid medium-mass arm that works well with a wide range of cartridges. Before buying, check the belt first: original belts are almost certainly stretched or cracked after 40+ years and need replacement. A new belt costs around $15 and takes 20 minutes to fit. Also check the suspension springs, which can sag and cause the subchassis to sit unevenly.
